Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has expressed his wish to see his former teammate Kylian Mbappe at Anfield in the future.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have been in devastating form over the past year, having won the Champions League in May 2019 before putting together a strong push for the Premier League which now sees them 14 clear at the top with a game in hand.
The Reds have not been required to make any high-profile signings due to the team’s success but players like Kylian Mbappe will always be an attractive target for even the best team in the world.
The Frenchman, a £344,000-a-week star as per Goal.com, has previously been linked with a move to Anfield.
And speaking on the quality of Mbappe, his former AS Monaco teammate Fabinho has admitted that he would ‘welcome’ the striker to Liverpool.
“Mbappe will have a Ballon d’Or before Neymar,” Fabinho said, according to Metro
“I would like to welcome him to Liverpool.”
Fabinho played with Mbappe in Monaco’s sensational 2016/17 campaign which saw them reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
