Liverpool’s record-setting goalkeeper Alisson has spoken with praise for his new set of fans.
The 25-year-old completed a record £67 million move to Anfield a few months ago at a time when the Reds were in serious need of someone to solve the problem of lack of reliability between the sticks.
Alisson replaced Loris Karius, whose awful pair of errors in the final of the Champions League had seen Liverpool lose 3-1 to Real Madrid on a very emotional night in Kiev.
So far in his career in the Premier League, the goalkeeper has proven to be one of the best players in Jurgen Klopp’s team.
The shot-shopper had nothing but good things to say about the Liverpool faithful in an interview about how he is embracing life in English football at the moment.
“When I arrived here I felt the importance of the team for the fans.” Alisson told Media Gol
“The fans here are the best in the world. And then home is where the heart is, where the family is.
“My family is here now.”
Allison will be looking to win the title in his first season in the English top flight this year.
