Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that attacking midfielder Adam Lallana is now out of the visit to Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Before the international break, the Reds bounced back from the shock defeat away to Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League by beating Fulham 2-0 at Anfield.
With Manchester City back in red-hot form again, Liverpool are very much aware that avoiding any more dropped points is highly imperative at this stage of the season.
However, the Reds will have to face Watford this weekend without Adam Lallana in the squad, according to an update from Jurgen Klopp at his pre-match press conference.
“Adam Lallana has a minor thing that makes him unavailable for the weekend, but all the rest came back healthy from the internationals, which is brilliant.” the Liverpool manager revealed
League leaders Manchester City will be on the road as well as they visit West Ham while Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea face each other in a much-anticipated London derby.
A win for Liverpool this weekend will see them gain an advantage on at least one of their top four rivals.
