Klopp irked by absence of this Liverpool player in PFA team

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has not hidden his surprise about the fact that his talisman in attack was not even included in the PFA ‘Team of the year’ for this season.

This has been a superb campaign of consistent performances from a majority of the players in the Liverpool squad as the club battles to win either or both of the Premier League and Champions League this term.

The Liverpool attack has once again been firing on all cylinders and the man who has been leading the way yet again this season is Mohamed Salah, almost two years after his move to Anfield.

The Egyptian star is up there in the race for the golden boot in the Premier League, having scored more than 20 goals so far.

But the ex-Roma star was somehow left out when the PFA ‘Team of the year’ was picked for this season.

And like most Liverpool fans, Klopp has shown he does not agree with that while praising other Liverpool players.

“Mo [Salah] deserved to be in there, Gini plays an incredible season, Hendo is in a moment of shape, if it was today he would probably be in.” Klopp said, as per Team Talk

“All the players deserve to be in.”
