Reds face new plot from suitor to sell Mohamed Salah

According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has set his sights on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and aims to bring him to the Bernabeu in the summer.

Salah has scored 17 goals so far in the Premier League this season following a record-breaking 44 in all competitions last season.

Liverpool have reportedly demanded a staggering €220 million for the Egyptian, something that even a club like Real Madrid cannot afford at the moment.

Perez however, is looking to lower the price down to half by including out of favour Spaniard Isco into the deal.

Isco has been down the pecking order under Santiago Solari this campaign having started just 5 games in the La Liga so far.

Despite the lack of game time, Perez values Isco at €100 million and hopes Liverpool will accept the player plus cash deal in the summer.

Perez’s interest in Salah has come after the move to Eden Hazard has broken down due to Chelsea’s transfer ban in the summer. Perez considers Salah to be the next best option in the world but he would cost double of what Hazard was expected to arrive for.
