Liverpool are set to sanction a deal for much-maligned shot-stopper Loris Karius to leave the club before it is too late in the European transfer window.
The performance of Karius in last season’s Champions League final saw him receive serious criticism which has ultimately seen him replaced in goal by new signing Alisson Becker.
The Reds’ biggest concern thus far in trying to offload the German goalkeeper has been the lack of suitors due to his blunders against Real Madrid.
Nonetheless, Besiktas have shown an interest in Karius and there has been a loan deal agreed for the 25-year-old.
The Turkish club will be paying Liverpool a sum of £1.8million, according to claims .
It is expected to be a two-year loan deal for the goalkeeper, who was left in tears after the Champions League final after his blunders helped Madrid win yet another European crown.
