Marko Grujic, who is currently on loan at Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, has caught the attention of a number of clubs including Bayern Munich.
The Serbian’s performances this season seem to have impressed the German champions who along with Lazio, are keen on the 22-year old.
Despite the rumours, Grujic is determined to make it at Liverpool and the midfielder has expressed his wishes to return to Jurgen Klopp’s side for the pre-season at the end of this term after gaining experience in the German top flight.
Grujic has also stated that he would be willing to go out on loan again if the Reds want him to and spoke highly of his time with Hertha Berlin since the start of the campaign.
The Serbian was quoted by ESPN saying “If I keep performing like I do now, then there are more chances to come back to Liverpool for another season. If Liverpool decide for me the best deal is to go on loan for another season, then I would like to come back to Berlin”
The 22-year old also spoke about how he would fit in under Jurgen Klopp, “We know how Liverpool play with one No. 6 and a double eight and I’m not really bothered about that. I can play both positions. In preseason we will see what is the best for me and for the team.”
Liverpool fans have been impressed with the Serbian’s performances this season and a return to Anfield has created a buzz among the Reds’ faithful.
