Alisson gets a 5: Player Ratings from 2-1 win over Fulham

Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League after a difficult yet successful outing at Craven Cottage on Sunday. Goals from Sadio Mane and James Milner secured the three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side despite a scare from ex-Red Ryan Babel.

Liverpool player ratings:

Alisson – 5

The Brazilian has been one of Liverpool’s best players this season but his error for Fulham’s goal could have been extremely costly.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8

The youngster barely had any defending to do but was brilliant in attack with his crosses.

Joel Matip – 7

A quiet game for the Cameroonian overall but did well when he had to in defense especially against Mitrovic.

Virgil van Dijk – 6

The Dutchman made his worst error in a Liverpool shirt when his mistake gifted Ryan Babel an equaliser. he will be thanking James Milner for converting the penalty to give them the 3 points.

Andrew Robertson – 8

An outstanding game from the left-back and was unlucky not to have scored or assisted.

Georgino Wijnaldum – 7

A fairly easy game for the Dutchman and kept the ball ticking for the Reds throughout the game.

Fabinho – 8

Was a calm and composed presence in front of the two centre backs and did everything he had to do well.

Adam Lallana – 6

The former Southampton man had a decent game for the Reds and helped move the game along like Wijnaldum.

Mo Salah – 6

The Egyptian was lively and was a threat down the right flank but missed a golden chance to score late in the game.

Sadio Mane – 9

Liverpool’s best offensive player yet again. The Senegalese international opened the scoring for the Reds and was a constant menace throughout.

Roberto Firmino – 6

An average performance by the Brazilian but did well in the build-up to open the scoring for the Reds.
