BBC pundit Gary Lineker wowed about some of the quality shown by Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold in the draw against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool watched title rivals Manchester City comfortably beat Crystal Palace on the road on Saturday and they were very much aware of the fact that a win was needed on Sunday at Old Trafford.
Jurgen Klopp made one or two alterations to his starting eleven but Alexander-Arnold definitely kept his place in the team as action resumed following the international break.
Even though the Reds were certainly not at their best at Old Trafford on Sunday, the undoubted quality of players like Alexander-Arnold was there for all to see as the leaders visited a team sitting in 14th place in the table.
For BBC pundit Gary Lineker, the passing ability of the young Englishman was simply impressive to watch even on a day Klopp’s side was not at full throttle.
The passing range of @trentaa98 is extraordinary. 👌🏻
