Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool failed to find the net for the second time in 3 games as Everton held them on for a 0-0 draw. After the draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford, the Reds had no margin for error but another goalless affair meant that Manchester City rose to the top of the Premier League this weekend.
Jurgen Klopp blamed the wind for their failure to find the net and some fans had a field day on social media mocking the former Borussia Dortmund manager. Many Liverpool fans have been critical of the German after he failed to bring on the likes of Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri in the second half when the Reds were in search of a goal.
Klopp had been a fan favourite after a wonderful journey with Liverpool so far but the fans’ trust in the German could decrease if the Reds fail to win the title at the end of the season.
Here were the reactions of some fans on Twitter after the game.
Game over again. Trophyless season unless miracle happen. What the hell is Klopp doing, joke in critical moment… Why Lallana and Milner for goal chasing, meanwhile Shaqiri and Keita left out. As Liverpool supporters, always get frustrated because of our manager’s performance.

Totally throwing our chances of this league game after game! Klopp needs to take responsibility of late with the subs he’s bringing on! Like for like every time! Milner and Lallana is embarrassing! Shaqiri and keita can’t get a look in! What does Klopp see in these players! #LFC

Klopp’s clearly been content with making it his priority to not lose these games against United/Everton. If he has some master plan that we don’t know and ends up winning the league then fair play he’s a genius. If not then, well let’s just cross that bridge when we get there.

The fact that Klopp still has faith and belief in Lallana and Milner is really wrong, Liverpool need players that can make a difference, direct players like Shaqiri and Keita. We only have ourselves to blame if we dont win the Title, but we still have a chance, keep believin #lfc

I love Klopp but when it matters he’s a punk, it’s confirmed.

Simple fact is: we haven’t changed formation in 2 years. We’ve been found out. We can’t expect to go out with the same exact tactics every single game and expect to win – teams have made the adjustment. Klopp has to be more adaptable #LFC
