Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed a double injury worry for his side as the title race against Liverpool nears a climax with only a couple of games left to play.
Jurgen Klopp has remained defiant that his team will not be sorely hit by whatever the outcome of the title race is this season but there is no doubt that the Reds will be hoping that there is a late slip up from Guardiola’s side in the final weeks of the campaign.
Liverpool thrashed Huddersfield Town 5-0 at home on Friday and that puts them in a good position to watch how Manchester City will fare in their trip to Burnley on Sunday.
Before his side’s important visit to Turf Moore tomorrow, Pep Guardiola has confirmed that there are injury worries over the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Fernandinho, who are two of his key players.
“He’s still not fit, but he’s getting better,” Guardiola said of De Bruyne .
On Fernandinho, Guardiola added: “We’ll see tomorrow, he has a problem with the knee.”
