The Liverpool squad visited West Ham on Monday night after watching title rivals Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur both secure home wins to move even closer to the Reds in the Premier League table.
Last week, Jurgen Klopp’s side could only draw 1-1 at Anfield against a resilient Leicester City outfit who spoiled the party by scoring an equalizer on the stroke of half time after Sadio Mane had opened the scoring.
The same man scored again on Monday night to put Liverpool ahead against West Ham but quite frustratingly, the same scenario from the Leicester City draw repeated as the Hammers scored an equalizer before half time as well.
After we conceded, the pressure was on the attack to produce a response and players like Adam Lallana are obliged to show some quality in situations like that.
Unfortunately, this was another off day for the ex-Southampton attacker (apart from his part in the opening goal) and the display comes at a time when Jurgen Klopp really needs all players in the squad to turn up.
I hate that Lallana still plays for Liverpool. He's awful.

I actually hate Lallana… He's not a shit signing.. Just a nothing signing. There will be absolutely nothing to either really hate or enjoy about his career at #LFC. Stealing a living…

Adam Lallana is truly a shocking footballer

Lallana is off pace already.

Lallana in a nutshell, takes out 2 defenders with a Cruff turn and fluffs the shot by backpassing it to the keeper. #lfc

Adam Lallana playing exactly as to be expected – way off the pace and slowing everything down. Ball bounces off him like a wall. #LFC
