‘It’s very likely’: Spanish journo claims £112m star could become a Liverpool player

Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda has made his own claim that Liverpool are one of just two clubs who are in the running to secure the services of Real Madrid misfit Gareth Bale.

The Welshman was a thorn in the flesh of the Reds and frankly most other clubs during his days in the Premier League as a Tottenham Hotspur player.

Bale has spent almost six years in Spain with Real Madrid, a club whom he has famously scored for in the Champions League final twice, with his most recent goal on that stage coming against Liverpool in last year’s showdown in Kyiv.

The Reds are yet to extend the contract of Daniel Sturridge before next season and the possible exit of the Englishman could convince Klopp to try and bring in another attacker.

In a scenario like that, Bale – who is priced at £112m (AS) – would be a quality option for the Liverpool boss to chase in the transfer market and Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda is actually claiming the Welshman could move to Anfield or join Tottenham.

“Bale has spent the day playing golf at La Moraleja.” he said, as per Daily Star

“And it is very likely that he will reach either of the two finalists in the Champions League, Tottenham or Liverpool.”

Inda also added that if Liverpool were to fail to sign Bale, the forward would be likely to move to Spurs with their star midfielder Eriksen being part of the deal.

“That operation would be accompanied by Eriksen plus a quantity of money.” he added
