Pundit Jason Cundy has given his prediction on how far he is expecting Liverpool to go next season.
Last term, the Reds were competing fiercely with Manchester City for the Premier League title as they finished with a total of 97 points, the record number of points earned by a second-placed team in the history of the league.
Even though Liverpool have been reluctant to spend this summer, the availability of quality players like Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane means there is a reasonable chance of silverware next season.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to see his team become the first Liverpool side to lift the league title for the club in three decades.
And for talkSPORT pundit Jason Cundy, the Reds actually have enough firepower to conquer the Premier League next season.
“Liverpool have got seven cups to win, it could be a magnificent season for them, I’ve got a funny feeling they’re going to win the title,” said Cundy on talkSPORT (17:54, Friday, July 26th).
Cundy’s prediction may be logical based on Liverpool’s Champions League triumph last season but the Reds’ form in pre-season so far has suggested otherwise.
