Milner sends three-word message to Liverpol player who has decided to leave

While on his summer holidays, Liverpool midfielder James Milner took some time out to send a brief message to ex-teammate Danny Ings who has decided to leave the club this summer.

Jurgen Klopp has been in a no-nonsense mood regarding the future of fringe players in this post-season after already sanctioning the exits of Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge.

Following the duo out of the door for good will be Danny Ings, a player who moved to Anfield from Burnley a couple of years ago in what seemed like a shrewd deal at the time.

A severe injury which he suffered shortly after his Liverpool switch saw Ings spend quite a while on the sidelines, before being sent out on loan to Southampton during last season.

On Monday, the 26-year-old decided to agree a deal that will see him join the Saints permanently, and after learning about the news of Ing’s exit, Milner reacted.
