Daily Mail reporter Dominic King has cleared the air on why Jurgen Klopp decided to omit new signing Fabinho from his squad on Monday night.
The 24-year-old completed a move from AS Monaco to Liverpool during the summer, adding to very busy transfer window of business for the Reds.
With Keita also moving to Anfield, the Brazilian’s place in the starting line-up was never expected to be a guaranteed one.
And that is exactly how matters turned out on Monday night as Jurgen Klopp decided to leave out the midfielder.
In fact, Fabinho did not even make the 18-man squad which traveled to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
But amidst all the rumours on social media about why Klopp chose to leave out the Brazilian, Dominic King has rather marked it down as a tactical decision by the Liverpool boss.
Fabinho is at Selhurst Park but not in squad. Can only assume it is a tactical decision; Klopp has stressed repeatedly it is going to take time for Fabinho to settle and adjust, similar to Oxlade-Chamberlain last year

Even though Fabinho will be disappointed to have been excluded from the squad, it is good news for the fans to know that there are no fitness concerns for the player as many first feared.
