‘We have to’: Klopp drops hint he’s ready to splash the cash in transfer window

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he will be willing to spend the money when needed to keep his team in the at right level for next season.

Last season, was close to being a memorable year for the Reds in the Premier League, as they fought hard to rack up 97 points, only to miss out on top spot to Manchester City by a mere point.

After winning the Champions League though, Liverpool have reinstated themselves as one of Europe’s leading clubs and that will also make attracting top players easier than before.

The Reds’ rivals Manchester City have never been afraid to spend money in the transfer market and Jurgen Klopp admitted that in order to compete, he would have to do the same.

“Liverpool is an ambitious club and if we didn’t spend the same amount of money as others, we wouldn’t be able to compete,” said Klopp, as per Mirror.

“Everybody’s splashing the cash, so we have to do the same.”

Liverpool to will be looking to build upon last season’s success by finally bringing home the Premier League title next season, after a multi-decade drought.
