Klopp asks Liverpool to open enquiries to sign 21-year-old attacker

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is rumoured to be keen on a move to sign Fiorentina star Frederico Chiesa in the summer transfer window.

As reported by Tutto Napoli, Liverpool have entered the chase to sign the 21-year-old along with other big clubs like Juventus, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and AS Monaco.

Chiesa is in the middle of a superb campaign at the Artemio Franchi Stadium after having a hand in 12 goals and three assists in 36 games in all competitions – which has seen his reputation rise as one of the brightest talents in the Italian top flight.

Tutto Napoli’s report is claiming that Jurgen  Klopp has asked the Reds to open transfer enquiries for Chiesa ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old attacker is usually playing on the flanks for Fiorentina, even though he is also capable of featuring in the creative role behind the main striker where Liverpool are perhaps in need of new options for next season.
