Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez will not be available for the visit to West Ham on Monday.
Klopp will take his side to the London stadium with hopes of keeping their lead at the top of the Premier League table as the title race approaches a very nervy stage.
Liverpool were not able to extend their lead over Manchester City to seven points as many expected as Leicester City held them to a 1-1 draw at Anfield on Wednesday night.
Alexander-Arnold has not been able to play for the Reds for a couple of games now and the manager will be hoping to have him back and available as soon as possible with more fixtures to come in February.
Missing in action is also Joe Gomez and according to Klopp on Friday, the duo will not be available for the trip to West Ham on Monday night.
“No, both not [available].” Klopp said on Friday
“[There’s] no return date for Joe. Trent is getting better and better and better.
“He is really close and I hope he is in full training next week, but not for Monday.”
