Klopp confirms decision over future of Liverpool attacker

Talented winger Rafael Camacho will not be leaving the club this month according to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

The youngster has been in outstanding form this season, having played in a total of 15 games for the U-23 setup of the club, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.

Rafa Camacho, who used to play for the Manchester City youth academy, is currently on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s side but his hard work and perseverance has finally been rewarded with a full senior debut.

The 18-year-old prospect was named in the starting line-up in Liverpool’s FA Cup third-round clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers, where they lost 2-1.

Klopp has made it clear nonetheless that Camacho will not be allowed to leave, despite rumours which have suggested otherwise.

“Rafa will not leave” the Liverpool boss said when asked about the future of the player with the January transfer window still open.

Camacho is mainly a right midfielder but he can be a very versatile player when given the chance.

The teenager is capable of featuring on either flank, at full-back, wing-back, or even as a winger.

The Portuguese starlet also possesses blistering pace and bags of trickery.
