Liverpool are reportedly considering a move to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos this summer with Jurgen Klopp targeting more quality to add to his midfield.
The Liverpool boss has the likes of Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho on his books but Klopp seems to be wanting more as he chases his first Premier League title at Anfield.
Dani Ceballos is facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid, a club who are looking to reduce their summer costs after spending a total of £300m on the additions of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao.
As per Marca (via Sport Witness), the Reds are considering a move which would cost £45m to sign the 22-year-old midfielder ahead of next season.
It is claimed in the same report that Ceballos has the ability to become Liverpool’s next Xabi Alonso, the Spanish legend who spent a couple of years at Anfield before joining Real Madrid.
The young midfielder has just finished international duty with Spain’s Under-21s, during which he helped his country win the European Championships.
