Klopp given backing to sign attacker with staggering £368m release clause

Jurgen Klopp might even be reluctant to spend lavishly this summer after watching his side conquer Europe last season while narrowly missing out on the Premier League title.

But if the Liverpool boss was to find the need to spend big this summer, it looks as though the club’s hierachy would allow him to do so.

As per an exclusive report by 90min, the Reds have made enough money available for Klopp to sign Ousmane Dembele.

The France international played against Liverpool last term in the Reds’ epic Champions League semi-final battle against the Catalans.

And 90min have claimed that there are enough funds for Liverpool to pursue the signature of a player like Dembele, should Klopp demand a signing of that calibre.

Despite the club’s capability to afford an approach to sign Barcelona’s young attacker, it is worth pointing out that Dembele has a staggering release clause of £368m (Sky Sports) which was inserted into his contract after his move to the Camp Nou from Borussia Dortmund.
