Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has outlined his plans for the January transfer window and revealed that he will look to make a new signing only “if something dramatically changes”.
This season has been one to enjoy for the Reds so far, as they sit pretty at the top of the Premier League table on Christmas day.
After last week’s 2-0 victory over Wolves which was followed by a surprising 3-2 home defeat for Manchester City, many have now made Liverpool the new favourites for the title.
What remains a concern for some fans is whether the Reds will be able to see out the campaign and not gift the title to Pep Guardiola’s side.
In order to do that, Jurgen Klopp will need most of his players available and the January transfer window will present an opportunity for him to add more quality to his team.
The Liverpool manager insists he is not in search of any new signings for now but if something dramatically changes, he will make a push for a new addition.
“I’m very happy with what I’ve got, but you don’t know. That’s why I always keep the door open, in case something happens and we need to have a look.” said the Liverpool manager
“There are a monstrous number of games coming up and as long as we can react, it’s all good.
“If something dramatically changes, we’ll look. If nothing happens then I’d say we will not do anything.”
