Liverpool have received a huge boost going into the showdown against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League with the confirmation of injury blows for the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are once again in the hunt for Champions League glory this year after reaching the final last season where they were defeated by Real Madrid.
Drawn into arguably the toughest group in the competition this season, Liverpool will be desperate for a good result in their clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
And in a potentially decisive boost for Klopp’s side, PSG have confirmed that key players Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are struggling with injuries at the moment.
Neymar was substituted only eight minutes into Brazil’s match against Cameroon on Tuesday evening, while Mbappe suffered a shoulder injury as France beat Uruguay.
It is now uncertain whether the duo will be fit for the clash with in France next Wednesday.
