Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno is set to sign a contract to join Spanish giants Barcelona in the summer – as reported by Sport.
The 26-year-old has dropped down the pecking order in the last couple of seasons after a number of poor displays in the left-back position.
Jurgen Klopp has decided to keep faith in Robertson for most games this season, limiting Moreno to a handful of Premier League appearances.
The Spaniard has previously been linked with an exit and the January transfer window appeared to be a great opportunity for him to leave the club.
With Liverpool not choosing to hand Moreno a new contract to extend his stay at Anfield, the full-back has been free to speak to other clubs who are interested in him.
The report from Sport claims that Moreno is set to sign a two-year contract with Barcelona whom he will be joining in the summer.
The Spanish defender signed for the Reds from Sevilla for £12m in the summer of 2014, but he has had an up-and-down time at Anfield.
