‘He has been very poor again’ – Some fans lash out at Liverpool star after Everton draw

Liverpool failed to reclaim top spot after an end-to-end battle against Merseyside rivals Everton in the derby. The 0-0 draw saw Manchester City stay a point ahead of Liverpool and with just 9 games remaining this campaign, the 2 points dropped could prove to be a massive regret for Jurgen Klopp in May.

The Reds’ top scorer Mo Salah was nowhere near his best for the visitors as he missed 2 chances that he would’ve usually buried with ease.

Not scoring meant that the Egyptian has gone 3 consecutive games without scoring, the first time it has happened since he signed for the Reds last season.

Salah has missed 13 big chances so far in the Premier League this campaign, only Pierre Emerick Aubameyang (13) has missed more since the start of the season.

His performance was defended by Jurgen Klopp but some fans couldn’t hold themselves back after the game. Here were a few Twitter reactions from some of them.
