Mohamed Salah dropped a hint over his decision relating to a potential transfer away from Liverpool after the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Egyptian star moved to Anfield from AS Roma two years ago, as he looked to revive his career in English football after a disappointing spell at Chelsea.
In his first season at Liverpool, Salah was simply brilliant as he managed to score more than 40 goals in all competitions, leading the Reds to the 2018 Champions League final.
Ever since he became a big hit in England, the Egyptian star has been linked with a transfer switch to Real Madrid, as a report by French source Hespress recently stated.
The 26-year-old was asked about his future at the club once again after the Champions League final, and he sent out a hint over his decision to turn down a move to Madrid – or anywhere else – as he revealed that he is committed to staying and winning more glory with Liverpool.
“It’s the start of something. Honestly, it’s just the start for us,” he said, as per the Daily Star
“Of course we feel we can win it again next season. We play with ambition, we set targets for ourselves and the target this year was to win the Champions League and also the Premier League.
“The Premier League was just one point. That was also disappointing and you just can’t finish your season with losing this game so we did everything and won the game today.”
