‘Offers absolutely nothing’ – Some fans want Liverpool star out of the team after Chelsea draw

Some Liverpool fans were very blunt on Twitter with their review of Jordan Herderson’s performance in the showdown against Chelsea on Saturday.

Liverpool are still unbeaten in the league this season, despite what was a stern test at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

The match, which came after a 2-1 loss in the Carabao Cup in midweek, was the Reds’ seventh fixture in the league this term – on the back of six wins in a row.

Even though Jurgen Klopp’s men went behind to an Eden Hazard goal in the first half, a superb effort from substitute Daniel Sturridge in the dying minutes of the game was enough to earn a much-deserved point.

Skipper Jordan Herderson, who has not always enjoyed full praises from the fans, was given a start before later being substituted by the manager.

In the eyes of much of the away fans, the England midfielder was not putting in the kind of performance which is required at this level.
