Former Reds striker Robbie Fowler has lauded Liverpool’s second top scorer in the Premier League this season after he scored yet another goal in the win over Huddersfield Town on Friday.
Liverpool were the high-flying attacking team of Europe last season as they scored loads of goals on their way to reaching the Champions League final, where they were beaten by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Reds have found their balance this season and have scored slightly less goals since the defense has now received a significant improvement at the other end.
However, the goals have definitely kept coming from Sadio Mane, who has turned out to be one of the club’s best signings from Southampton, along with Virgil van Dijk.
The Senegalese international was on the score sheet yet again on Friday as Liverpool thrashed Huddersfield Town to maintain their pursuit of the Premier League title.
Following Mane’s latest strike, Robbie Fowler had nothing but plaudits for the in-form attacker.
