England take on the Czech Republic and Montenegro in the qualifiers for the 2020 European Championships next week. Gareth Southgate named his 25-man squad for the two games and 2 Liverpool players are included in his list.
Trent Alexander Arnold and skipper Jordan Henderson have been called up to join the squad for training before the games.
The 20-year old made his debut for the Three Lions against Belgian in the World Cup in Russia last summer and has since made 6 appearances for his country in the right-back role. Henderson, on the other hand, could earn his 50th cap for England if he was to play both games against next week.
Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain miss out due to injuries while Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge have been overlooked after a string of average performances this campaign. James Milner will get a well-deserved rest thanks to his retirement from international duties 2 and a half years ago.
Squad in full: Butland, Pickford, Heaton, Stones, Keane, Maguire, Rose, Shaw, Alexander-Arnold, Trippier, Walker, Chilwell, Tarkowski, Alli, Dier, Barkley, Delph, Henderson, Rice, Loftus-Cheek, Kane, Rashford, Wilson, Sancho, Sterling.
