Important Liverpool star Sadio Mane is said to have been contacted by Real Madrid once again as the Spanish giants look to lure the forward away from Anfield.
Liverpool have taken a significant lead in the race for the Premier League title this season and much of that progress has been courtesy of the superb form of Mane.
The 27-year-old remains a key figure at Anfield but as per Le10 Sport, Madrid have gotten in touch with Mane’s agent to enquire about the possibility of a deal for him to move to Spain.
Jurgen Klopp handed the Senegal international a new contract at the club (worth £150,000-per-week wages) just over a year ago in November 2018 – extending his deal to 2023 – but Madrid have maintained their pursuit of the Liverpool attacker nonetheless.
Real Madrid have struggled to replace Cristiano Ronaldo ever since the Portuguese star’s move to Juventus, and after Eden Hazard’s underwhelming debut season, Liverpool’s Mane is whom they are now targeting.
