Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been given a concern over the fitness of key midfielder Jordan Henderson ahead of the Reds’ fixture against Watford after the international break.
Jurgen Klopp will be looking forward to his side returning from the international break in good condition after the recent win over Fulham at Anfield.
The Reds are still keeping up with league leaders Manchester City in a Premier League title race which is shaping up to be a fairly competitive battle.
Key midfielder Jordan Henderson’s fitness has been something to worry about all season and it now looks as though he could be set for another set back.
England boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that the 29-year-old did pick up an injury in the match against the United States.
Henderson was left out of England’s UEFA Nations League match against Croatia on Sunday as the Three Lions’ boss confirmed why that was the case.
“Jordan has been carrying a bit of an injury. He’s someone who always wants to play, but in the end, I had to take a decision.” Southgate said
With the festive period of football now approaching, Jurgen Klopp will be very eager to have all of his important players available in order to maintain any hopes of challenging for the Premier League title this campaign.
